Green Floral Backless Dress

"So, I somehow bought this dress without realising it was backless. That's my oops. I already had a somewhat similar dress that is a thicker material, and is white-based with orange, yellow, and pink floral instead of blue-y-green based with green floral, which is also backless/tie back, and also has elasticated sleeves. The thing is, I knew that dress's elastic at the shoulder and the lower back were loose, and I would need to fix them before I wear it. Having somewhat accidentally bought THIS dress, I find myself with the same problem (though I think the lower back is actually workable in this one, unlike the other one, and if it wasn't, there are at least UN-elasticated portions on either side of the elastic at the back that could be removed instead of having to fiddle with the elastic). The elasticated sleeves fall off my shoulder (though not quite as much as the other dress), but I do have notoriously weak shoulders. It also seems to depend how tightly you tie the back, but I can only tie it so tight and still get it on over my chest, and it's almost impossible to tie it up neatly by yourself. This dress is very pretty, and very backless. The material (this version of rayon) is like a slightly softer thin cotton. I bought a size 18, which matches my bust measurement, but it's slightly big in the waist (which matches the difference in my waist measurement from the 18). I actually like this dress more than the similar one I already had, and if I can fix the elastic in the sleeves, it might go on holiday with me (which I never thought I'd say about a backless dress)."
