You + All is going Green

We are on a journey to improve every day with our program “Going Green at Work”.

We seek to understand the effects our business activities have on the environment by supporting initiatives such as:

• Reduction of materials, water and energy consumption
• Reduction of carbon emissions and energy saving initiatives
• Waste minimization
• Recycling of all resources

Three sustainability strategies we are taking

Recycling

We employ ever evolving recycling standards, that enables us to achieve radically improved economics and quality.

Fundamental Redesign & Innovation

We are constantly working to find more sustainable ways of creating and designing our products. Essential to this process is a fundamental approach to redesign and innovation in everything we do.

Reusing

The most effective way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place. Our policies are central to reducing the amount of waste that needs to be recycled, and allows products to be used to their fullest extent.

Our Sustainability Efforts

Although sustainability efforts can be challenging, we try to take steps in the right direction. This includes:

Reducing, reusing and recycling - Sorting out plastic, glass, and cardboard/paper is now a common practice. We’ve set up recycling bins for our team members to properly dispose of plastic, glass, and cardboard/paper boxes to enhance our recycling initiatives. Shredding bins are also located at specific locations. We’re recycling all shipment boxes at our distribution centres daily.

Shopping Bags – 100% recyclable and reusable plastic and paper bags. We provide recyclable bags for customers. Our You + All bags are heavy-weight recycled fabric bags, which comply with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning legislation.

Going Paperless – We’re working towards fully eliminating paper, by going paperless where we can. We also ask customer if they require a printed receipt to reduce paper usage.

Efficient Power and Light Sources – We’ve installed energy efficient lighting systems at our new stores, and this has vastly cut down our energy usage. Our Head Office is powered using solar power installations.

A Positive Impact for Everyone

"We are always looking for ways to minimise our environmental footprint. Some of the ways we do this is by designing collections made with eco materials and repurposing off cut materials into scrunchies. We are also proud to have launched You + All with no plastic bags, using recycled fabric bags instead. We believe that the little things add up to make a huge difference."
